I'm
back!!
It's
been a while since I last posted --- life the universe and all that
--- getting in the way.
The
all that --- being --- I'm selling my boat and have moved into a
house.
Have
I sold out to convention?
Maybe.
Yeah --- perhaps just a bit. I loved living on the river. Lots of
great people live there, and I do miss them.
But
--- my animals needed a garden and I needed a flush loo!
So
after seven months of madly decorating, and buying furniture ( it's
amazing the beautiful things you can find in second-hand shops), I am
back at my desk and hitting the lap-top keys with a vengeance.
I
didn't actually have a desk on the boat or a private place to call my
own, where I could write as much as I wanted.
Another
plus to being a landlubber. A desk with a proper chair, not a small
stool, and a room that I can close the door on.
Oh
– yeah and the space. I just gotta talk about the space.
A
king sized bed that we can get out of either side. No more climbing
over each other when nature calls in the middle of the night.
A
kitchen that --- hell --- I won't bore you with the details. You know
– you probably live on land too.
If
you don't – trust me it's worth a try.
The
other reason I haven't been posting lately.
If
you have read my stuff in the past, then maybe you have read The
Spanky Bottom Consultation.
I
originally wrote it as a short story for this blog. In a mad flash of
creative inspiration I have decided to turn it into a full novel.
I'm
almost finished, and I should have the book ready for publication in
the Autumn. The Fall --- if you live over on the other side of the
pond.
It's
just as rude and bawdy but with a lot more ----- ssshh -----sex.

got some wonderful authors lined up with reviews of their books. And
several interesting articles that I hope you will all enjoy
reading......
