It's
a thing with me that I like to find books by authors that I haven't seen widely advertised.
With
tens of thousands of books on Amazon by relatively unknowns, it is
very easy for authors, who should be widely acclaimed to get lost
among the multitude.
I
found Pete Brassett's short quirky e-book, Brown
Bread, tucked away on Amazon the other day.
Spikily
written with a devilish sense of humour, this short work (98 pages),
had me laughing all the way through it.
The
book is concentrated on a dysfunctional family making a hobby of
murder.
Insurance
men, the local vicar, and a fresh faced constable are just some of
the characters who don't make it out alive.
It
you are looking for an easy read, on a nothing doing Sunday, then
Brown Bread, is a great book to relax with.
